Description
Made in Australia from our original hand painted design, these earrings are printed with eco-friendly inks, onto light weight sustainably grown hoop pine and finished with stainless steel hoops, perfect for sensitive ears!
The Sturt’s Desert Pea, also known by its scientific name Swainsona formosa, is a fascinating plant native to the arid regions of Australia. It’s particularly prevalent in far west New South Wales and thrives in red sandy soil or loam.
One of the most distinctive features of this plant is its vibrant red flowers, which are often contrasted by a bulbous black center, making it a sight to behold in the midst of the desert. This striking appearance has led to its designation as the floral emblem of South Australia. Despite its beauty, it’s worth noting that the Sturt’s Desert Pea is not just a pretty face. It’s a hardy survivor, perfectly adapted to the harsh conditions of its native habitat.
Pixie Nut Earrings are carefully designed and handmade. Your earrings will last for years when taken proper care of.
Avoid exposing your earrings to water, salt, sun, lotions and makeup and do not wear whilst sleeping. Earrings are best stored in a dry room in a box or on a stand to avoid getting scratched.
