Sharon McIlwain is an artist based in Lennox Head, Northern New South Wales. Her work is deeply inspired by the coastal heathland surrounding her home studio, where she creates both en plein air and in the studio. Sharon's paintings often explore themes of home, memory, and the interplay between simplicity and grandeur.
She has been selected for several national art prizes, including being a finalist for the Ravenwoods Australian Women’s Arts Prize. Her exhibitions, such as "Style de Maison," showcase her ability to capture the essence of everyday objects and their significance in our lives.
