Description

Rising from the canopy, Mirrangen/The Cathedral glows in the late sun, its surface weathered by millenia of wind and rain. Below, a flock of white cockatoos drift silently across the forest, a fleeting movement against an ancient form.

Drifting is a meditation on time and scale: ancient volcanic remnants shaped over 20 million years, contrasted with the grace of flight. The Nimbin Rocks, a sacred site of the Bundjalung Nation, are honoured here as a portrait of the bush as a place of reverence and quiet power.

Drifting is designed as a statement piece for collectors seeking atmosphere, symbolism, and quiet poetry in their interiors.

On Bundjalung Country, New South Wales, 2023

Behind The Brand

Angela Ferro is a Northern Rivers based photographer, who captures atmospheric, story-rich imagery that speaks to a slower, more connected way of living.

Practicing the art of photography for over 20 years, her journey began with shooting commercial fashion landing her in New York. Moving from editorial portraiture to the wild terrains of New Zealand, Angela found herself enchanted by the natural beatuy of her surrounds. And so her art evolved from portraiture to capturing the fleeting light of landscapes that carry a sense of awe, stillness and belonging.
