BEHIND THE BRAND
Hideo Aoyama is a Japanese-born artist based in Ballina, Australia, renowned for his nature-inspired creations. His artistic journey began in New Zealand in 2018, where he learned stained glass techniques from master artisan Peter Mackenzie. Since relocating to Ballina, Hideo has expanded his repertoire to include organic light lampshades, pressed flower art, and resin jewellery. Each piece reflects his deep appreciation for nature, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design to bring the beauty of the natural world into everyday life.
