Paper Ornament Workshop

Handmade Recycled Paper Christmas Ornament & Tag Workshop

Hosted by Susan Wright of Born In Paper

Get into the festive spirit and add a sustainable touch to your holiday season at the Paper Ornament Workshop. Join local paper artist Susan Wright for a creative, hands-on afternoon learning the art of papermaking using recycled office waste.

Whether you want to craft unique hanging ornaments for your tree, design a charming paper garland, or press one-of-a-kind gift tags for your Christmas presents, this two-hour workshop gives you total creative freedom. If you prefer classic paper you can also make your own custom sheets of handmade paper to take home for heartfelt letters or a unique art canvas.

What You’ll Experience:

• Hands-On Crafting: Learn how office waste paper is transformed into textured, beautiful paper pulp.

• Festive Designs: Use a variety of Christmas-themed cutters (stars, trees, baubles, candy canes, snowmen, and more) to shape your creations.

• Custom Touches: Personalize your pieces with colored pulps or embed real dried florals and petals into your designs.

• Sustainable & Budget-Friendly: An affordable, eco-conscious way to make personalized holiday decor and gifts.
