Description
Soothe sore muscles and calm your mind with the Organic Patchwork Heat Pack, handcrafted in Lennox Head. Consciously made using upcycled and scrap linen and cotton, each piece features a unique patchwork face backed by an unbleached panel on the reverse of a cotton-linen blend.
Filled with a therapeutic blend of organic flaxseed and fragrant organic lavender flowers, this pack offers dual-action relief. When warmed, the natural oils in the lavender release calming, anti-inflammatory aromas to help you unwind, or chill in the freezer for refreshing cold therapy.
Unlike traditional buckwheat, flaxseed has a higher natural oil content, allowing it to retain warmth longer and withstand more heating cycles over time.
How to use: Warm in the microwave in 30-second bursts (up to 2 minutes maximum), or chill in the freezer (in an airtight container to reduce freezer smelles) for a refreshing cool pillow. Spot clean with a damp cloth as needed.
Care
Cold or warm machine wash separately with gentle detergent.
As this product is handmade with love and expertise, with proper care you can expect this item to be a generational heirloom.
Behind The Brand
Collins Street transforms sustainable, upcycled vintage textiles sourced from Australian op shops into handmade products. Based in Lennox Head, Cathy’s background in fashion design and pattern making fuels her love for rescuing forgotten fabrics — like tea towels, linens, and vintage finds — and turning them into unique treasures. Every piece supports waste reduction and Australian charities, blending mindful creativity with practical style and a deep respect for pre-loved materials.
